The length of your exam depends on the nature of your problem and the availability of examining rooms equipped for your particular need.  Initial exams are usually lengthy and may require that the pupils be dilated.  Therefore it is recommended that you not make other appointments on the day of your exam.  Due to possible dilation of the pupils, we also recommend that you have someone else drive for you.

Late arrivals for appointments are worked in as time allows or are rescheduled for another day.  If you are unable to keep your appointment, please call our office as far in advance as possible.

At the time of your appointment, please bring all insurance cards with you and all prescription medications you are taking.

Fry Eye Associates accepts Medicare assignment and is a Blue Shield CAP provider.  Our insurance department will file all insurance claims for you.  You will be responsible for your deductible, any co-payment, and balances not covered by your insurance carrier.  If you need to discuss payment arrangements, contact our bookkeeping department.
