Dr. Travis Kimple joined Fry Eye Associates as a full-time ophthalmologist and surgeon in August 2021.   Dr. Kimple graduated from the University of Kansas School of Medicine in 2017 and completed an Internal Medicine Internship at the Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, Michigan in 2018.  He completed his Ophthalmology Residency in June 2021, serving as Chief Resident at the University of Kansas Ophthalmology Residency Program. 

His practice focuses primarily on cataracts, glaucoma, and corneal issues; however, he also performs limited medical retina evaluations and eyelid growth/minor surgical procedures.  Outside the office, his interests include spending quality time with family and friends, travel, hiking and exploring the great outdoors.

The day of your appointment, please bring all your insurance cards with you so we can verify all policy numbers and take a copy for your chart. We will file all primary and secondary insurance for you. After payment of insurance is received, any balance remaining will be payable within thirty days, unless prior arrangements have been made with our business office. If you have an HMO, you will need to verify with your insurance that they will cover any exams or procedures at Fry Eye Associates.
